RETURNS AND REFUND POLICY
Trumix Studio Return and Refund Policy for Digital Sample Packs
At Trumix Studio, we are dedicated to providing high-quality digital audio content. Due to the nature of digital goods, our return and refund policy for sample packs differs from physical products.
Understanding Your Rights (UK Consumer Law):
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content (like our sample packs) must be:
-
Of satisfactory quality: It should meet the standard a reasonable person would expect.
-
Fit for purpose: It should be suitable for the purposes for which it is supplied.
-
As described: It should match any description you were given before purchasing.
1. No Right to "Change Your Mind" Once Downloaded:
-
Waiver of 14-Day Cooling-Off Period: When you purchase a digital sample pack from Trumix Studio and proceed with the download, you are asked to give your express consent to waive your 14-day "cooling-off" cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
-
Instant Access: By completing the purchase and initiating the download, you acknowledge and agree that you will lose your right to cancel and claim a refund simply because you have changed your mind. This is because the digital content is delivered instantly and cannot truly be "returned."
2. Refunds for Faulty or "Not As Described" Sample Packs:
We are committed to ensuring our sample packs are delivered as advertised and function correctly.
-
Eligibility for Refund/Resolution: You may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if the sample pack you purchased is:
-
Faulty/Corrupted: The files are unplayable, incomplete, or contain errors that prevent their use as intended.
-
Not as Described: The content significantly deviates from the product description, demo, or advertised features (e.g., incorrect format, missing sounds, or misleading genre representation).
-
-
Your Remedies: If a sample pack is genuinely faulty or not as described, you have the right to request:
-
Repair or Replacement: We will first attempt to resolve the issue by providing a corrected version of the sample pack or a suitable replacement. This will be done within a reasonable time frame and without causing you significant inconvenience.
-
Price Reduction (including Full Refund): If a repair or replacement is not possible, or if it does not fix the problem, you may then be entitled to a price reduction, which can be up to the full amount paid, depending on the severity of the fault.
-
-
Damage to Your Device: If our faulty digital content causes damage to your device or other digital content you own, you may be entitled to compensation for that damage. This applies even if the content was provided for free. You would need to demonstrate proof of the damage and any costs incurred.
3. How to Request a Refund/Resolution for Digital Sample Packs:
-
Contact Us Immediately: If you believe your sample pack is faulty or not as described, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible (ideally within 7 calendar days of purchase) at TRUMIX@MAIL.COM or 07519963030.
-
Provide Details: Please include your order number, the name of the sample pack, and a clear, detailed description of the issue you are experiencing (e.g., "Files X, Y, Z are corrupted," "The advertised tempo is 120BPM but the loops are 100BPM"). Screenshots or short video clips demonstrating the fault are highly helpful.
-
Our Investigation: We will review your claim and may ask for further information to diagnose the problem.
-
Resolution: We will work diligently to provide a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with your rights under UK consumer law.
4. Exclusions:
-
Compatibility Issues (user's system): We are not responsible for compatibility issues arising from your specific software, hardware, or operating system if these are not due to a fault in the sample pack itself (e.g., you bought a pack in a format your software doesn't support, but the format was clearly stated in the product description).
-
Incorrect Purchase: If you purchased the wrong sample pack by mistake, we generally cannot offer a refund once the download has commenced due to the nature of digital goods. Please ensure you select the correct product before completing your purchase.
-
Subjective Dislike: Refunds will not be issued for subjective creative reasons (e.g., you simply don't like the sounds, or they don't fit your creative vision) if the product is otherwise as described and functional. We encourage you to listen to demos and read descriptions carefully before purchasing.
