PINK NOISE
Pink noise is a type of noise that has equal energy per octave. This means that it has a similar frequency spectrum to many types of music. As a result, pink noise can be a useful tool for balancing a mix.
To use pink noise to balance a mix, you can follow these steps:

Download our pre-recorded pink noise file.

Import the pink noise file into your session

The level of the pink noise should be set to a comfortable listening level.

Solo each track in your mix one by one and adjust the level so that it is just barely audible above the pink noise.

Once you have adjusted the level of each track, unmute all of the tracks in your mix.

Listen to your mix and make any final adjustments to the levels as needed.
Pink noise is a great tool for balancing a mix, but it is not a substitute for good mixing technique. It is important to use your ears and listen to your mix carefully.
